Implements Web-based
Clinical Systems from Opus Healthcare Solutions
AUSTIN, TEXAS,
April 6, 2006 — Opus Healthcare Solutions,
a Web-based clinical software company headquartered in Austin,
Texas, announced today that Doctors Hospital of Laredo, Texas,
has implemented the company’s core clinical applications,
including a Clinical Data Repository, Point-of-Care Clinical
Documentation, Clinical Dashboard, Order Management and Results
View solutions.
The systems installed at Doctors Hospital
of Laredo, which is part of the Universal Health Services
(UHS) network, are components of the OpusClinicalSuite 2.0®,
the new generation of Web-based clinical systems from Opus
Healthcare. The modules are completely integrated and are
easy to use for all clinicians and physicians.

The multi-site capabilities of OpusClinicalSuite 2.0 facilitate physician work by reducing time to retrieve
results. Approximately 400 users can now view results across
multiple visits and multiple facilities. Nurses also can
take advantage of the Care Plans module as part of the nursing
Clinical Documentation system.
